The first step after loading a surface in T3RRA Design is to create a Boundary. “Select” your surface by clicking on it in. The perimeter will turn blue. Click on “Layer” in the Surfaces tab and then “Create boundary from selected layer” OR Click on “Layer” in the Boundaries tab and then “Create from selected surface”.

The T3D boundary you have created is not considered the field boundary. It is the area you will be working in or the area of interest to you.
NOTE: There is no need to create a “Region” when creating a “Boundary”. Use the “Region” tab when you want to separate your design into regions.
